I have a digital camera. And I cant seem to get the memory card to transfer to the computer comp smarts a must

when i use to start taking pictures and putting them onto my computer there was always a pop up and say “Import pics, View Pics ect.” my computer is a windows vista. Well now when I put the 256mb card into the slot in the tower (dont remember what it is called) that doesnt pop up anymore and I dont know how to transport my pictures to my computer. I hope someone can help but I understand if you cant.

go to Start>Computer, the in the removable disk try each one(there is one for each slot in your card reader), when one of thems open up search in the folders for your pictures
